The foundation of our Quality Assurance (QA) Plan has five key elements: quality is every employee's responsibility; performance monitoring; technical support from corporate resources; non-author peer review of deliverables; and program management reviews. Ours is a disciplined approach which focuses on: detecting and eliminating problems early in the project lifecycle; clarifying requirements definition; preparation of internal management documentation and defining feasible and useful deliverables. Personnel performing QA functions serve as independent entities using established Quality Assurance and Surveillance Plan (QASP) procedures, processes, inspections, and checklists. Our QA inspection system requires that metrics documentation and corrective actions are reported regularly, and are internally consistent and mutually supportive.
