Provides in depth
technical knowledge in field of expertise. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge in the development of
drugs/vaccines/medical devices, scientific principles, application
methods/procedures, project management and the Department of Defense
Acquisition system and integration of same into drug/biological/device
projects. Primary
contributor in application of scientific principles to meet technical
requirements. Develops technical
concepts/plans for implementation, monitors technical progress, designs tests,
assesses performance data, and develops solutions to technical problems. Assists other technical
employees by providing expert advice, training, and technical guidance as
necessary in areas listed above.
Authors, edits, and contributes to production of technical reports, such
as overall project concepts and descriptions, tests plans and technical
reports. Knowledge of the FDA approval Process.
